Adrian V
(Adrian V) previously Ottobono Fieschi. He was a nephew of Pope Innocent IV. He was born in Genoa in the second decade of the thirteenth century. He studied theology in Paris, n othing is known, however, that received some academic degree. Pro bably accompanied by Cardinal Tonengo Ottone in legacji to England (1237-41). After joining his uncle on the papal throne received a number of benefices. He was a canon of the chapters in Paris, France (1244/5-1270) and Reims (1243), dean of the chapter at Piacenza (1247), chancellor of the Archdiocese of Reims (1243-1250), and archdeacon of Bologna (1244), Parma (1248-1255) and Reims ( 1250-1276), had a number of minor benefice.
